It's for a good reason too as we very much get a lot of things filled in which I think you'll enjoy as we go through the breakdown. According to the leaks we pick up on Corvus with Ahsoka fighting with her dual lightsabers. She's combatting several armed forces carrying blasters and chops them up amongst the trees. These have invaded Calodan and Ahsoka is trying to take it back but there are a large number of soldiers in it so it's a bit difficult for her to swarm them all at once. The lightsabers are apparently white and it's meant to be the a big entrance for the first time that we get lightsabers in the show. Now Ahsoka looks exactly as you'd imagine, according to the leaks, Rosario Dawson looks like the best cosplayer in the world and she's complete with Ahsoka's orange skin as well as some bright blue contact lenses and a hood. We don't know Ahsoka's full mission here but shortly after she confronts the leader of the city who is a woman known as The Magistrate. Apparently the magistrate wants to execute the citizens of the of Calodan and she sort of becomes the big bad of this episode that leads into other things which we'll talk about in a bit. Ahsoka gives her one day to surrender otherwise she will return and Ahsoka goes back to the forest. Now this is where Mando comes in and he's trying to land in Calodan in order to find Ahsoka. With the forces of it, namely the Magistrate wanting to kill Ahsoka she hires Mando to take her down. The Magistrate has some beskar that she will give him as a means of payment and as we know from the first episode that this is exetremly rare within the galaxy and that it's very much sought after. Now Mando then hunts down Ahsoka and the pair fight it out. It's not meant to be a massive scene according to the plot leaks but Mando manages to stop things from escalating any further by bringing up Bo-Katan who of course had a friendship with Ahsoka over the years. I really like how this is all sort of tying together and if it's true it makes sense to do all this. This is when the Child is brought into it and Ahsoka recognises him as being from the same species as Yoda. Apparently Yoda himself is actually name dropped in the episode so it's tying into the grand overall plot of the saga and it's from here that we really get the back story of the child's past.
